The Art

As I studied a few photos I was amazed at the intricacy of color and texture of this "weed".  Surprisingly it was a pleasant challenge to paint and each variety was so different, as are its uses. So you'll notice each painting has a unique look to it.... No two species are the same. 

The first painting I did was "Girls Scout Cookie' as a gift for a friend "Willy" . The second two were "Strawberry Cough" and "Haleighs Hope", all on standard canvas. I recently purchased hemp canvas for all new paintings and am very excited to test it out!
